Sarah J. Woollen is a Central Illinois native originally from Forsyth Illinois who has been practicing in Livingston County and the Surrounding Areas since 2018.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University - Chicago School of Law, graduating cum laude. While attending Loyola Chicago School of Law, she was an Chicago IP Colloquium Fellow, a member of Phi Delta Phi honor society, and received the Cali award for Advanced Legal Research: Comparative Law. Sarah obtained both her undergraduate degree and her law degree while working fulltime at Caterpillar, Inc.
Sarah resides in Pontiac with her husband Butch and their dog, Kage. Sarah and Butch have four adult sons and recently became first time grandparents. Sarah enjoys working in the community and has served as a director of the Decatur Pride/American Legion baseball program, the Vice-President of Habitat for Humanity Livingston County, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Livingston County Bar Association. Sarah is currently a member of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee.
